Tour to Assy Plateau

Assy Plateau (Asy)

The famous Assy plateau is located in the upper reaches of the Turgen Gorge, not far from the Bartogai reservoir. With a length of about 40 km, it is used for seasonal grazing - zhailau. The height of the plateau is from 2200 to 2600 m, which allows coolness to reign on the plateau even in the hottest months.

You can enjoy incredibly breathtaking views of the plateau, see the original national nomad camps of Kazakhs, shepherds' yurts, and herds of sheep and horses.
The main attraction of the Asy plateau is the Asy-Turgen Observatory. Surrounded by mountains and the colors of herbs, it looks especially picturesque.
