Plateau is a flat valley with relatively flat or slightly hilly surface, limited by distinct ledges.
The main attraction of the Assy plateau is the Asy Turgeni Observatory. It is 45 meters high and looks like a mountain flower - edelweiss. For a long time the observatory was frozen, but in recent years there are observations using a telescope AZT-20.
There are no buildings on the Asy plateau, except for the observatory complex and yurts of shepherds, so it looks especially picturesque surrounded by mountains and colors of motley grasses.
