Kazakhstan is a very pleasant country for tourism. The most interesting in this regard is the southern capital - Almaty.
Almaty or Alma-Ata in literal translation from Kazakh means "Father of apples". It justifies its name by its apple orchards in the foothills. Alma-Ata was popular back in the Soviet times.

Located in the cradle of the Zailiisky Alatau mountains on one side, in the northern part Almaty goes to the steppe and the Kapchagai reservoir.
